Jessi’s love for website development started in 1993, when at the age of 12 she learned HTML and secured her first dot-com. Jessi spent her late teenage years working on freelance website projects, and in college she held a part-time position as webmaster for the college radio station.
Jessi graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2004 and holds degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy, with a secondary concentration in Music Theory. She incorporated Iceberg Web Design in 2005 as a way to advance her career and drive her passion for website development. Jessi oversees company operations and growth, and she is passionate about maintaining a business where people love to come to work.
Jessi also speaks at website development conferences, and she enjoys networking with business owners, and informal mentoring for solopreneurs looking to grow. Jessi is an active member of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce, and is also a board member at Montessori Renaissance Academy in Anoka, where her two boys attend school.
Jessi lives just north of Anoka with her 6- and 8-year-old boys. When not wrangling penguins at Iceberg, cooking a vegan dinner, or pulling weeds from her vegetable garden, you can find her in the window seat of an airplane traveling to her next adventure.
