Borton Overseas, a tour operator with more than 100 years in the travel industry, is known for their intimate knowledge of their destinations and their expertise when it comes to curating memorable journeys and tailoring custom travel itineraries.
Borton Overseas has always been immersed in culture, from their beginning as steamship travel for immigrants in 1894, and later becoming a thriving international tour operator. However, their old website was outdated and did not properly communicate all the worldly experiences they had to offer.
Working in conjunction with the Borton Overseas team, we needed to deliver a complete redesign using a modern responsive framework, as well as develop a feature that could allow them to internally update and add new tours to the website.
Borton Overseas is dedicated to providing unbelievable experiences across the world, therefore, we created a website that translated that dedication online by delivering a beautiful, modern, and accessible website. We used a dedicated color scheme for each continent and their associated tours, and tied it all together with a colored navigation bar at the top of the site. This is a great way to help the user navigate through the myriad of tours they offer.
With beautiful imagery, easy navigation of their tour packages, and a custom feature that simplified internal operations, Borton Overseas has been able to showcase their journeys in more detail, significantly increasing customer and employee satisfaction. Since launch, they have continued to develop the functionality of their website by adding an advanced map feature to all their tours.
